Cedarville University was under a tornado warning Sunday, November 17, 2013, from 6:32-6:34 pm. The warning has been lifted but high winds are still in the area through the overnight.
Normal Operating Conditions
The network maintenance performed the morning of Thursday, October 31, was completed around 6:45 a.m.
In order to address the network instability over the past two weeks, the entire Cedarville network (CedarNet) will be shut down for necessary maintenance on Thursday, October 31 starting at 5 a.m.
Power was restored to campus at approximately 3 p.m.
Power is out at Brock, Willetts, Maddox, Murphy, Rickard, west, and Apple Halls. All other buildings are open.
The network maintenance was completed early Saturday morning, October 19, 2013.
The Cedarville University network team will be upgrading equipment in our data center. Campus power was restored late on 8/28. All scheduled activities for 8/29 will occur as planned – classes, chapel, etc.
Everything that is currently (as of 9 p.m. on 8/28) without power – including most residence halls – will continue to be down until approximately midnight.
